Pick the visit by what your system is doing.

A running system and a broken system should not be sold the same visit. Use the prices below to choose the right starting point, then Scott confirms any repair price before repair work begins.

Service Call & Diagnostic

$95 in Springfield, $145 in Nixa, or $190 for ordinary travel more than 30 minutes away. Branson or unusual travel requires Scott approval.

For no heat, weak heating, no-cool, freezing, leaking, short cycling, breaker trips, thermostat, or drain problems.

Good fit when:
  • The house is not heating or cooling correctly
  • The outdoor unit will not start, clicks, hums, or trips
  • Water, ice, hot smell, airflow, or thermostat clues are involved

Diagnostic pricing is based on location and travel time. Springfield diagnostic visits are $95, Nixa diagnostic visits are $145, and ordinary travel more than 30 minutes away is $190. Branson, unusual travel, rural roads, or difficult access requires Scott's approval before the fee or appointment is confirmed. The diagnostic fee is due when the diagnostic is completed. Repairs are quoted separately after Scott diagnoses the system.

Repair pricing

Repair work is not guessed from a menu.

Parts, repairs, refrigerant work, drain repairs, blower wheel removal/cleaning, heavy coil cleaning, and difficult-access work are priced separately before work begins. That is why the diagnostic exists. The visit should narrow the problem first, then the repair price should match the finding.

1

Find the actual problem

Scott checks the heating or cooling symptom before talking repair price. The visit looks at system operation and the cause of the problem before a repair is recommended.

2

Explain what changed

You should know what the system is doing, what was checked, and whether the next step is maintenance, repair, or another decision.

3

Approve repair before work

Repair work is priced after the issue is confirmed and before the repair moves forward. No mystery parts list over text.
