AC Maintenance Guide
Choose the maintenance scope that fits a running AC.
Choose the Outdoor AC Tune-Up for outdoor condenser cleaning and checks, or the Full System AC Tune-Up when you also want indoor cooling-side checks. Both are for an AC that is operating normally.
Choose the scope
Maintenance is not a separate mystery service. It starts with the right tune-up.
Confirm the AC is operating normally
No-cool, freezing, leaking, breaker trips, or failed starts belong in a diagnostic visit rather than maintenance.
Choose outdoor or full-system scope
The Outdoor AC Tune-Up focuses on the outdoor condenser. The Full System AC Tune-Up adds indoor cooling-side checks, thermostat, drain, filter and return, blower compartment, and accessible evaporator-coil review.
Review the findings
Scott explains what looks normal, what needs attention, and whether any separate diagnostic or repair work should be considered.
Useful clues
These details make the first conversation more useful.
- Whether the AC is cooling normally right now
- Any late-day struggle, longer run time, noise, or drain concern
- Last filter change if you know it
- Whether you want a seasonal check or have a specific symptom
If the system is not cooling, keeps shutting off, leaks, freezes, or acts abnormally, start with the diagnostic.
